Yes, I know we are still in the dead of January, but its never too late to start thinking about spring and being outside! I know I’m ready and seeing this shot from May of last year has me excited for fresh flowers and temps in the 70’s!

I had the chance to team up with The Home Depot and (virtually) style out some of their new patio sets. I found this simple + modern 4-piece set and styled it in two different ways using nothing but accessories and decor from The Home Depot. And it’s all very good!

As far as the styling goes, I can’t and never will quit blue so you can bet there will be elements of that mixed with clean lines and a bit of black thrown in for good measure.

Let’s take a look at what I came up with:

I was immediately drawn to the shape and simplicity of the chairs and the modern contrast of the black and white. Give me all the matte black in 2019 and beyond! In addition to the very large selection of styles and price points in the outdoor furniture, The Home Depot also had a really nice collection of outdoor rugs! I was naturally drawn to this blue Moroccan-inspired beauty, but I saved at least 6 options that could have worked!

The other design element I can never quit is stripes! They are universally awesome and go with all different styles. I love the idea of a pergola in my ‘dream modern European lake house in Italy’ so I had to explore this fantasy. In addition to the clean lines and simple modern shape, the set that I chose has CushionGuard fabric which is stain, spill and fade resistant and only at The Home Depot!

This was such a fun exercise and has me very excited for spring! If you are curious to any of the sources, I got you covered below! Hover on each element to get the link!
