My warm + casual 'Friendsgiving' table setting

I feel like I might say this every year for the rest of my life…but can you believe its November!!?? Where did 2019 go? I actually love November though…it’s cool and crisp, no bugs, still high off of Halloween and ready to get the holidays started! And I secretly kinda love Thanksgiving more than Christmas…because it’s more about delicious pie, mashed potatoes and mulled wine and less about schedules, wrapping gifts, stuffing Christmas cards and all the general busy chaos that happens in December (god, I’m such a mom…lol).

So to celebrate my love of comfort food, wine and all things dining/entertaining, we decided to host our very first Friendsgiving this year. Really, it’s just Thanksgiving, but a week earlier with friends and family! The more the merrier I say!

I teamed up with the very nice folks over at walmart.com to style and prepare my dining room for a Friendsgiving feast! Let’s take a closer look!

Generally, I don’t go crazy with holiday decor, but I do enjoy seasonally changing up textures and colors to reflect a warmer mood in the fall.

That AMAZING stoneware dinner set looks even better in person. I love the irregular shape and the organic texture and how it plays nicely with the other pieces on the table. It feels so high quality, sturdy and gives off such a classy, artisanal vibe!

To mix in a bit of modern I added satin black flatware (it’s so lovely in person), sleek copper mugs and pulled in some farmhouse style with the buffalo check table runner. Add in a splash of vintage with the candle holders, some life and call it a day!

In my book, good design is all about the mix and I’m pretty happy with my simple little table set up. Not too fussy or fancy, but laid back, comfortable and party-ready!

I pulled together a little get the look below in case you are feeling this happy holiday mix.

Happy November, friends!
